Summer break is here! I thought this would be a fun list to share with others looking for summer toy ideas. I have 4 boys whos ages range from 1 to 9 – there is something for everyone on this list. I hope you enjoy!

This garden hose rocket is linked here. It’s one of those outdoor toys that my kids will play with for hours. The best part is all you need is a garden hose! There aren’t a bunch of small parts that you need to keep track of. My kids are rough with their toys and this hasn’t broken in over a year – can’t say enough good things about this one!

Balance bikes have always been in our house, they are AMAZING! My kids were all riding bikes without training wheels by 4 years old and I think it’s all because of these balance bikes. The striders are a bit more expensive, but worth it in my opinion. Especially if you are going to hand it down to other kids. This balance bike is linked here. This sidewalk chalk is our personal favorite! These aren’t as fragile as some of the other brands out there. They always hold up to my crazy kids. We’ve even accidently left them outside in the rain a few times and they don’t get instantly destroyed like other ones do. Linked here.
4. Zip Lines

My kids use this YEAR ROUND. Rain, shine, winter, summer… it’s always being used! We have ours on a small incline between trees – but you don’t need an incline! You can also put it up between leveled trees and it’s just as much fun. This zip line is linked here.

This rocket bottle launcher is linked here. Younger & older kids will love this. You just add water to any 2 liter bottle, attach to the base and build up pressure using a foot pump. When you pull the string the bottle will rocket into the sky – it goes pretty high! Take my word on this one – kids will love it!!

This is our favorite sensory table we have owned and it’s linked here. It’s super affordable and just as great as any other sensory table. We keep ours outdoors and it’s constantly used for sand/toys/water play. The options are endless!
The first water slide pictured is the one we own, and we love it! I have linked it here for you. It holds all my kids no problem. Pro tip – use a water pump to circulate the water instead of leaving the hose on. Saves so much water! If you’re looking for something larger, click here.

If you have any type of sand, rocks, or even water that your kids could use this with, get it! I have it linked here for you. It’s also easy to pack up in the van to bring to the beach – we love this toy!

I’m sure we’ve all seen this one by now. I’ve tried a few different brands & this one is by far the best! This brand blows more bubbles and blows them further. The battery also lasts way longer! I have it linked here. Comes with bubble solution too.

Another one that kids of any age will love to use! This is one my kids will all come running to when they see it. Painting on something besides paper makes it so much more fun! Linked it here for you. I love that we can just spray it down when they’re finished. Simple clean up!
11. Water Tables
These are the top 3 water tables that we have owned. I have them linked here for you. If I had to choose one that I would keep forever – it would be the water park water table (first pictured). You can also add these small water pumps to save on water!
12. Giant Lawn Jenga
Lawn games are always so much fun. But when things come crashing down it makes it even more fun! I linked the one we own here. When we aren’t playing Jenga with it, my kids will line them up and knock them over like dominos!
13. Splash Pads

My one year old is obsessed with his little splash pad. I have the one we own linked here for you. We’ve own a few throughout the years and this is by far the most durable & easiest to clean.
14. Slip And Slides

This brand slip and slide is the best & is linked here. We add a little soap to ours in the summer for some extra speed. My older kids love that this one comes with boogie boards to slide on. Makes it easier on their tummies.

If you have an outdoor patio table, try putting this game out this summer. I didn’t think such a simple game would get so much attention from kids (and adults)! Linked here for you. Would also be a fun one to put out on the kitchen table on a rainy day.

How cool are these!?! Saves so much money and saves on all the clean up of regular water balloons. Linked them here. PLEASE NOTE: reusable water balloons stay closed by tiny magnets inside of the lip of the balloon. Ingesting magnets is harmful! Please use caution with toddlers & little ones.

We own a couple regular play kitchens – but this one takes the cake. This one runs off of batteries and continuously pumps out water. I love watching their imaginations go wild with this toy. Linked here.
18. Bubble Sets

I get this bubble set out weekly during the summer. So many different shapes and sizes – makes it so much more fun! Even my 9 year old LOVES bubbles still – can’t go wrong with this one. Linked it here!

This giant connect four is such a fun and interactive lawn game. This one will last you years and years. Linked it here!
20. Light Up Slingshot Rockets
This toy is so affordable! It’s been over a year now since I’ve ordered mine & we still have a bunch left. Great for ages 5 and up. I linked this light up slingshot here for you.
