Bubble Wrap Fireworks

These bubble wrap fireworks are a great craft to try for the New Year! Each firework will come out with a unique design – I hope you love it!

Did you know: The average number of babies born on New Year’s Eve is 10,394 – making it one of the rarest birthdays in the United States.

Materials you’ll need:

1. White paper
2. Pink paper for background (optional)
3. Glue
4. Paint
5. Bubble wrap
6. Black paper for numbers
7. Glitter

Directions:

1. Cut your bubble wrap into a small square. Roughly a 3×3.
2. Paint your firework design on your bubble wrap.
3. Press down onto your sheet of white paper.
4. Slowly lift up your bubble wrap to reveal your design!
   • You can rinse/wipe bubble wrap in between colors or use different bubble wrap for each color.
5. Add glitter to your fireworks while the paint is still wet.
6. Allow everything to dry.
7. Cut your year ‘2023’ out of the black paper.
8. Glue numbers on top of the fireworks – you’re finished!
