My youngest son wanted to make his own baggie for his Valentine’s at preschool. I remember making my own bags for my Valentine’s as a kid & was so excited that he wanted to do the same. We had a ton of bubble wrap laying around from Christmas packages and thought this bubble wrap painted Valentine’s Day bag would be a fun way to upcycle it!
Here is what you’ll need:
- Paper bag
- White paper
- Paint
- Bubble wrap
- Tape
- Glue
- Black sharpie
- Scissors
Directions:
- Use your sharpie to draw hearts on your white sheet of paper.
- Wrap bubble wrap around your child’s hand and secure it with a strip of tape.

2. Let you kids dip their bubble wrapped hand into paint & press all over your paper.

3. Allow everything to dry.
4. Cut out your hearts.
5. Attach the hearts to your brown paper bag with glue.
6. Add their name to the middle of the bag – you’re finished!

Why I love this craft:
- We were able to upcycle bubble wrap that would of been thrown away.
- My kids feel like their being messy, buts it’s actually not too bad.
- The patterns turn out different each time – they’re so much fun!
