Directions:

  1. Draw your bunny outline onto your piece of cardboard.

2. Cut out your cardboard bunny.

3. Peel back the top layer of the cardboard.

4. Paint your bunny with any colors you’d like!

5. Allow everything to dry.

6. Cut out pieces of paper to put inside of the bunny’s ears. We painted ours pink.

7. Glue your ear pieces and googly eyes to the front of your bunny.

8. Fold your sheet of white card stock paper into a card & glue your bunny to the front.

9. Add your message to the inside using your black marker. You’re finished!

Here’s a short video tutorial of our cardboard bunny card:

Why I love this craft:

  • It’s an easy way to upcycle our cardboard.
  • We had all the supplies at home.
  • It’s an easy and fun DIY for lots of ages. My kids are gifting theirs to their Grandma ❤

FAQ’s:

  • Will any type of cardboard work? Most cardboard will work! It needs to be cardboard from a box or something similar. Cardboard from a cereal box is not thick enough to peel back any layers.
