My kids & I love coming up with new crafts to try. Crafts that aren’t the traditional paint & paper are their favorites. We thought these chalk hearts would be perfect for Valentine’s Day – hope you try it out!

Directions:
- Cut your white paper into hearts. Make them all different sizes.
- Tape your hearts down to your black sheet of paper.

3. Draw on your hearts with your chalk! We did outward motions – this will keep the edges from flipping up.

4. Smudge the chalk with a piece of paper towel.
5. Peel your white hearts up to reveal your chalk hearts.

6. Glue your design onto a sheet of blue paper – you’re finished!

Here’s a short video of us making our own chalk hearts:
Why we love this craft:
- We used broken chalk that would of just been thrown away.
- My kids were so focused on their creations. It’s so fun to watch!
