
These faux stained glass Christmas trees are a must try this holiday season! You only need a few supplies & you probably already have them at home.
Did you know if you apply baby oil to a sheet of paper it becomes translucent? Let me show you how it’s done!
Here is what you’ll need:
- 1 sheet of white cardstock paper
- Crayons
- Black marker
- Baby oil
- Cotton ball
- Hole punch
- Ribbon

Directions:
- Create your Christmas tree outline with black marker.

2. Color in your tree with your crayons.

3. Flip your design over so that the back is facing you.
4. Put baby oil on your cotton ball.
5. Rub baby oil onto the back of your drawing. You will see your design shine through to the other side!


6. Allow the baby oil to dry – takes roughly 30 seconds or so.
7. Use a hole punch on the top and add a ribbon to hang it in the window.
8. You’re finished! These faux stained glass Christmas trees are easy & fun to make. You could also make candy canes, Santa, wreaths – whatever you’d like!
