Glowing Sucker Ghosts

glowing sucker ghosts

Do we have any Halloween lovers here?! I love coming up with new ideas for my kids, they always get so excited over the simplest things. These glowing sucker ghosts were a hit! We used ours as a party favor for a bean toss game at my son’s classroom party.

Let me show you how to make your own!

Here is what you’ll need:

  1. Tootsie pop suckers
  2. Box of tissues
  3. Black sharpie marker
  4. Halloween colored ribbon
  5. Short glow sticks

For a list of our favorite craft supplies click here.

Directions:

  1. Take your sucker and place your glow stick at the base of the sucker.
    • Our glow sticks had the hook at the top, but just a regular short glow stick works too!
    • Our glow sticks were secure enough with ribbon (in the next step). But if you think yours will be tossed around – I would secure the glow stick down with a piece of tape first.

2. Wrap a sheet of tissue over the top of the sucker and glow stick. Secure everything tight with a ribbon.

3. Give each ghost eyes with your sharpie marker. Adding a mouth would also be cute.

4. You’re finished! Wait to crack them until you’re ready to serve them – have fun!
