Hole Punched Fireworks

My preschooler loves hole punching whenever he can. These hole punched fireworks were inspired by him – it was a huge hit at our house!

Here is what you’ll need:

1. White cardstock paper cut into a square
2. Purple sheet of paper cut into a slightly larger square (optional)
3. Clear glue
4. Scrap paper
5. Hole punch
6. Black marker

Directions:

1. Write happy new year or the year in the center of your white sheet of paper.

2. Take your clear glue and draw lines all around your writing, make them look like firework lines.

3. Now take your scrap paper & have fun hole puching!

4. Spread your hole punched paper all over the clear glue. Once you’re finished shake off any excess pieces and let it dry.

5. Glue your sheet onto the colored sheet of paper. This step is optional – I just think it makes everything pop.

6. You’re finished!
