These pipe cleaner ornaments are one of the easiest DIY’s we’ve done. My kids ages range from 4-7 and each of them loved making their own. You only need a few items, let me show you how to make them!
Materials you’ll need:
- Pipe cleaners
- Pom pom’s
- Ribbon
- Pencil or pen
- Hot glue or regular glue

Directions:
- Wrap your pipe cleaner around your pencil.

2. Carefully pull your pipe cleaner off the pencil.

3. Gently pull your pipe cleaner apart. Don’t pull too much, just enough to give you small gaps in between each loop.
4. Twist the ends of your pipe cleaner together, making a circle.
5. Add pompoms onto your pipe cleaner. My kids wedged the pompoms in between loops – but you could also use regular glue or hot glue to give it extra reinforcement.
6. Glue a ribbon loop to the top & a ribbon bow to the bottom.
7. Allow everything to dry – you’re finished!

My kids love creating their own ornaments for our Christmas tree each year – this one was the perfect addition!
