My kids have come home from school a couple times now, with baggies filled with glitter and cereal to sprinkle for the reindeer outside on Christmas Eve. The idea is cute, but the glitter sticks around forever! I thought this spin on reindeer food would be perfect for my kids & doesn’t leave the mess outside – they ended up loving it!
Here is all you need:
- Jar or baggie
- Leaves, branches, berries – whatever you can find outside!
- Scissors
- Hole punch
Directions:
- Simply cut up your leaves, twigs, berries, and greens into your jar. Hole punch some to add a different shape into the mix.
- Add a ribbon around the top of the jar to make it more “fancy”.

That’s it! super simple & eco friendly – I hope you try this reindeer food out!
Random reindeer fact: Did you know that a reindeer can run up to 50 miles per hour – how crazy is that!?
