
We’re upcycling our scrap paper today & creating these fun scrap paper hearts for Valentine’s Day! I hope you try it out.
These are fun to hand out as Valentine’s Day cards, or just to hang on the fridge – I hope you try it out!
Joke of the day: What did the cucumber say to the pickle? You mean a great dill to me!
Materials:
- White card stock paper
- Normal paper should work too!
- Pink, purple, & red scrap paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors

Directions:
- Cut your colored scrap paper into thin strips.
- Cut your white card stock paper into two squares. Ours are roughly 4×4.
- Cut out a heart design into one of your squares.
- Add glue around your heart.

4. Add your scrap paper strips to your glue. We put ours down diagonally.


5. Glue your other square of white paper to the top.

6. Cut off any pieces hanging off.

7. Flip over to reveal your scrap paper heart! You can leave them square our cut them out.

Why I love this craft:
- We were able to use our scrap paper. They would have been thrown away otherwise.
- There’s so many patterns/colors/designs you could do.
- We had all the materials at home.
