Scribble Shrinky Dink Keychains

Have you heard of Shrinky Dinks before? I grew up making these, and they’re still a favorite at our house today! I thought these scribble shrinky dink keychains would be perfect for Father’s Day!

Here is everything you’ll need:

1. Shrinky Dink paper – Ours is off amazon & included the keychain hardware. Click here to grab your own!
2. Colored pencils
3. Sharpie
4. Scissors
5. Hole punch

Directions:

1. Let your kids color on the Shrinky Dink paper – scribble away! You want them to color on the rougher side of the paper – not the smooth side.

2. Cut your sheet into two. I rounded the edges on ours, but you don’t have to. Make sure to cut before baking in the oven. Once they are baked – they become very hard.

3. Use your hole punch to make a hole for your keychain. You want to make the hole larger than normal because it’s going to shrink. I ended up doing two holes – side by side to make one large one.

4.. Place them on a foil lined pan – colored side up.

5. Place in the oven at 300 degrees fahrenheit for 5 minutes.

6. Carefully take your pan out of the oven and allow your Shrinky Dink’s to completely cool.

7. Put your keychain hardware on.

8. Write a cute message on the front with sharpie!

9. You’re finished! Such an easy & fun craft for Father’s Day!
