This is a fun one to do for Valentine’s Day or just any day!
We’ve had oil pastels in our craft drawer for a while now and we’re never really sure how to incorporate them into our crafting. I thought this would be great for my little ones to try out – it was a hit!
Here is a list of supplies you’ll need:
- Card stock paper ( 2 white and 1 purple)
- Tape
- Oil pastels – we use Crayola
- Q-tip
- Glue
Directions:
- Cut out a heart from a sheet of white paper, tape it down to your white card stock.

2. Using your oil pastels, gently rub them around the edges of the heart, pushing outwards.

3. Now take your Q-tip and smudge everything outwards.

4. Once you’re finished smudging everything, peel off your taped down heart.

5. Glue onto the purple sheet of cardstock to make it pop.

6. You’re finished! Perfect DIY for Valentine’s Day but also just a fun one to do :)
