Washi Tape Bunnies

Washi Tape Bunnies

These washi tape bunnies are super easy to make & are perfect for Easter! You only need a few things – let me show you how to make them.

Did you know: Peeling stickers and putting them on a page helps your child develop their fine motor skills. Your child is practicing their hand-eye coordination and finger control, which will be needed as they get older when writing.

Joke of the day: What do you call a very rich bunny? A billion-hare!

Materials:

  1. 2 sheets of white paper
  2. Washi tape
  3. Glue stick
  4. Scissors
  5. Cotton ball
  6. Pen or marker

Directions:

  1. Lay one sheet of white paper in front of you. Begin layering your paper with your washi tape. You can do straight lines like we did, or you can change positions of each piece of tape. Both would be adorable!

2. Cut out a bunny shape into your other sheet of white paper.

3. Add glue to the back of your bunny cut out and place on top of your washi taped paper.

4. Add a cotton ball to the bottom.

5. Add “Hoppy Easter” to the bottom with marker or pen. You’re done!

Here’s a short video of us making our washi tape bunnies:

Why I love this craft:

  • It was a craft all my kids could do together. Their ages range from 4-8.
  • My kids are strengthening their hand eye coordination & fine motor skills without even knowing it.
  • I had all the materials at home.
  • They look amazing hanging on the fridge!

FAQ’S:

  • Where did you buy your washi tape? Ours is from Hobby Lobby. Most large grocery stores (Walmart/Meijer) will carry it too.
